Zgharta Younger Set (ZYS) is a youth group formed since February 2009 in Sydney-Australia. It aims to gather all the Zgharta youth together, in order to have the opportunity to meet each other and enjoy their time, while they are participating with different events held by us.

A new committee has been formed and lots of functions had been made. As we have already mentioned, the first and most important purpose of these events, is to meet new Zghertewiyeh, get together and just enjoy our time and have fun.

• The beginning of our route was with the Movie & Games Night on the 13th of March at the Zgharta House. The guests enjoyed the movie chosen by the majority, with some popcorn and soft drink.
• Our next event was Bowling on April the 17, at Ten Pen City. The Zghertewiyi youth had the chance to play 2 games of bowling and meet each other.
• Then we had a BBQ again at the Zgharta House on the 22nd of May. Thanks to Halaby butchery who donated the meat, and to Guildford market for its vegetables and fruits donation.
• We can’t forget the very successful Ice Skating night at Canterbury ice rink on the 29th of May. Everybody enjoyed their night, where they listened to modernist music and skate. But unfortunately, the night had to come to an end.
• Finally, we all met again at the Laser Skirmish event at Villawood on the 26th of June. The youth split into two groups and played against each other, and then spend the rest of their time playing games.
