| Annual Zgharta Christmas Day Picnic 2005 : |

The 2005 Zgharta Christmas Picnic was held at Prospect resevoir, Prospect on Sunday 18th December. The day was a beautiful day with everybody enjoying the warm, sunny weather. Approximately 55 families attended and all enjoyed themselves immensely. The children, in particular, had a great day with many children's activities such as the running races keeping them entertained for the whole day.
Great prizes were awarded to all children who participated in these events and they were able to cool off after these activities with ice-creams for everybody, including the oldies..
However, the day was not over yet and the kids were in for a bigger treat when Santa Claus arrived, in the afternoon, to hand out Christmas presents.
The day was a great success with everybody enjoying themselves, especially the children.
